May 2011: Tripadvisor Review: This is the third time we have stopped here and the service and cleanliness are still of an excellent standard. It is in a quite location and not far from Babbacombe and if you are supporting your football team Torquay FC is close by. It is nice to have a warm welcome when you arrive and the friendliness of the B&B ensured we would look forward to the next time. Breakfast is a meal to savour.

The sun shone every day, and the breakfasts are still the 'best in the west' (special thanks for perfect scrambled eggs every day!). Thank you Clive and Diane for your care, kindness and attention to detail to make our stay so comfortable. This really is home from home, complete with tummy tickles for Poppy and endless ball games.

24/07/2009: Robert & Stephanie - Germany: We've been to Salisbury, St Ives, Trevone and Fowey, but this guesthouse is the most excellent and fabulous where we stayed. July 2009: Tripadvisor Review: We booked for two nights and Diane and Clive made us and our Cavalier king Charles spaniel most welcome, with tea on arrival. "Daisy' would pull us into the hotel to be made a fuss of each time. There is a small park opposite for doggie visits which is very handy and provides easy parking. Our ground floor room was very clean with attention to detail, including doggie treats. Being on the ground floor near the front door you felt you did not disturb other guests with the odd bark. We took our own dog food and bedding and we all had a relaxing stay. "Daisy" would be quite happy to go on her own next time.
